What is Carolina Party Partners?
We are a full-service event staffing company that specializes in providing the help people need when planning a wedding, birthday party, anniversary, rehearsal dinner, or any other type of social event. Our goal is to provide the professional staff you need to perform any lingering tasks during an event, such as bartending, serving, buffet management, decor delivery, event setup & cleanup, table busing, washing dishes, coat checks, check-ins, parking lot assistance, or almost any other task.

Carolina Party Partners is proud to provide certified and insured bartenders and event staff throughout eastern and central North Carolina. We have headquarters in both the Raleigh and Charlotte markets, allowing us to serve a large number of cities and towns throughout the state.

How did you get into this business?
Carolina Party Partners was launched in 2020 by our founder, Kenny Thornewell, after working as the operations manager of a local wedding planning company for five years. Prior to that, Kenny had worked in the hospitality & tourism industry for several years serving as a food and beverage operations manager. Kenny loves the environment and comradery of working behind the scenes at special events, which is why he has been doing it for over 10 years.
When the wedding planning company he worked for no longer wished to provide event staffing services in 2019, Kenny began the process to start his own company. Since our launch, many of the staff who worked under Kenny's operations team at the wedding planning company have now joined the team here at Carolina Party Partners. Working with a well-established crew, Carolina Party Partners is ready to make your event a party to remember!
What does your staff wear to events?
It really depends on the type of event. For events where we are fulfilling a server, bartender, or food-handling role, our staff will wear black shoes, black pants, and either a black polo with a Carolina Party Partners logo, a black dress shirt with the logo, or a white shirt with a black vest, depending on the wishes of the client.
Special Note: In accordance with our pledge to slow the spread of COVID-19, all of our staff will wear black face coverings when working indoors and whenever social distancing is not possible.
Do you pour shots and/or shooters?
In keeping with our obligation to serve alcohol responsibly, it is our policy to not pour shots or shooters for event guests. At the sole discretion of our certified bartender, we may pour one celebratory shot for the bride, groom, and the wedding party only; however, we will not serve intoxicated or underage individuals.
What is your last call policy?
Last call for alcoholic beverages will be made approximately 45 minutes prior to the scheduled end time of the event, and the last alcoholic beverage will be served no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled end time of the event. Only one alcoholic beverage will be served per guest after the last call is made. Due to our liquor liability insurance regulations, we are unable to serve alcoholic beverages after 11:55 PM under any circumstance.
Special Note: To remain in compliance with Governor Cooper's Executive Orders, we are unable to serve alcoholic beverages after 11:00 pm until further notice.
